Distance = 0.7 km
Time = 20 mins
Climb = 1 m
Descent = -124 m
From the carpark the track heads north-east past the boomgate and the information signs and down the servicetrail. This goes steadily down, with occassional steep sections, until reaching the bottom of this valley and a small creek. This is marked with a small creek and is just before a large clearing. At this point there is a track that heads off to the south-west, following the creek. The servicetrail in this section is in disrepair and in several sections has large trees going across the track and it is therefore necessary to climb over these or bush bash around them.

Distance = 0.6 km
Time = 15 mins
Climb = 64 m
Descent = -16 m
From the intersection the track heads along the bushtrack beside the cliffs. Gradually, the surrounding hills close in, forming a canyon. At this point the vegetation is extremely dense surrounding the bushtrack. Continuing alongside the creek the track breaks out onto rockshelf and goes past some very pretty rockpools until reaching a small waterfall and pool. At this point there is a small rope hanging down the rock beside the waterfall. Use this to make the 3m climb up the rockshelf. On the top of this the track continues beside and along the rockshelf of the creek and at several points there are rockpools with rope handles around them. This continues until reaching a large pool and with handles all around it. At this point that you will get wet feet as you go around it. On the opposite side the track uses the small bridge and continues up the very small but still slippery waterfall. On the top of this the track continues for a short period before breaking out of the canyon and into a small valley.
