Bouddi National Park

Bouddi National Park is south east of Woy Woy and encompasses the Box Head headland. Bouddi NP has numerous secluded beaches and some great surf beaches too. The park also offers fantastic coastal walking with views out from the tall headlands over Broken Bay, Woy Woy and the South Pacific Ocean. Bouddi NP also boasts one of the first marine extensions in NSW, with a 300ha protection zone out of Maitland Bay for the marine life. The mosquitoes in Bouddi NP can be fierce so it might be an idea to pack insect repellent.

Closed areas: Maitland Bay Information Centre closed due to COVID-19
Maitland Bay Information Centre is closed from Thursday 15 July until further notice, to protect health and safety of our visitors and staff.

Closed areas: Bouddi Coastal Walk part-closure for heli-lift operation
The Bouddi Coastal Walk will be partially closed from 8am until 4pm on Thursday 30 September 2021 for a helicopter operation. 
There will be no access from the eastern end on Maitland Bay Beach to the junction of Mount Bouddi walking track. There are no detours in place.

Closed areas: Bouddi coastal walk partially closed - track upgrade
From Tuesday 31 August to Tuesday 9 November 2021, Bouddi coastal walk will be closed between the eastern end of Maitland Bay beach and the junction of Mount Bouddi walking track.
This section of the walk is closed for construction works to upgrade it, and to ensure the safety of visitors and construction staff. There is no alternative route during this time.

Closed areas: Old Wagstaffe trail - no access through private property
There is no public access to Old Wagstaffe trail through private property. Signs show where public access is not permitted.
