Bombala

If you're heading to South East Forest National Park from inland, make the Bombala office your first stop. It has all the maps and guides you'll need to explore the park, and staff has extensive knowledge of the places you want to visit. If roads or walking tracks have become unsafe due to bad weather, or if there's a total fire ban in the park, they'll be able to tell you. They will also be able to give you a few tips about the plants, animals and cultural heritage to look out for.
