Getting there
Closest point to drive and park is on all weather unsealed roads, from there it is via the water to this the campsite GPS: -29.3656, 153.3725 About 35 km south of Woodburn, turn off the Pacific Highway onto Iluka Road. The campsite is on the eastern side of the road, north of Iluka.

There will be F-35A and F/A-18F Super Hornet military training operations over the Evans Head Air Weapons Range on the following dates:

Monday 22 February to Friday 26 February 2021
Monday 22 March to Friday 2 April 2021 (only 1 or 2 days)
Monday 17 May to Friday 21 May 2021

Visitors can expect some loud noise over Bundjalung National Park on the above dates while the aircraft are training. Days of operations on the range can change due to weather or other operational considerations, so aircraft will not use the range every day of the scheduled operations.
