The campsite is on the Snowy Mountains Hwy 63km south of Tumut on the banks of the Yarrangobilly River. There is a 'Yarrangobilly Village' sign next to the road marking the short dirt driveway into the campsite.
General Information
You can park a caravan, trailer, or a tent in this campground There are a total of 50 campsitesThis is a lovely campsite beside the river with some great gold mining history. The large flat campsite sits between the Hwy and the river on the river flats. There is space for caravans and lots of open areas for tents. The river adds a lovely feel to the space and helps make up for the occasional bit of traffic on the Highway. There is some walking tracks, and old buildings and history to explore. The caves are a short drive away and well worth a visit. Otherwise kick back and enjoy the water bubbling past.
