Getting there

The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles
221.7 km SSW of Sydney
GPS: Latitude 35° 43′ 5.952"S Longitude 150° 16′ 24.276"E
Almost due east of Batmans Bay on North Head. From the Princes Highway follow Durras Road then take a right and follow North Head Road and to the end. There is then a short walk to the campsite.

General Information

You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers

A small campsite on North Head. There is a toilet, and a short walk to the beach and lagoon. (Notes: some maps mark the road as a walking track)

Not sure where you're talking about. North Head (Moruya) Camping ground is not in the National Park, is run by Eurobodalla Council,charges fees and is accessable for caravans & tents. Is there a map?

I stayed here in September 2009. It was awful - strewn with rubbish; lots of campfire scars; quite a few permanent residents with dogs on chains. I was really surprised the council allows it to be in this condition. I'm used to camping in all kinds of wild and remote places but this one felt unsafe. The only reason I didn't carry on and find somewhere else is that it was getting too late in the day.
