Getting there
Campsite is only accessible by 4wd vehicle
265.2 km SSW of Sydney
GPS: Latitude 35° 56′ 19.032"S Longitude 149° 44′ 43.548"E
Access is via Bendethera service trail from the east, or Dampier Mountain fire trail from the west.

You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers

A large open grass flat campground. Treat creek water before drinking

Spent a week over New years at this campsite. Really beautiful. The river is great for swimming in and there's is so much room to spread out. Being 4WD access it is a lot quieter than other campsites.

Lots of wombats to see at sunset.
