The campsite is accesable by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles

The campsite is at the eastern end of Mooraback Road. about 85km SE of Walcha Drive along the Oxley Highway and turn onto Kangaroo Flat Road.

The are Plenty of Platypus in the Hastings River and explore the short walks in the area
