This is a short walk – and a long drive, but if you are in the area well worth getting the car dirty for. The walk is along the old road which is now a service trail, making navigation easy. The track brings you to the top of the Nepean Gorge escarpment with views up and down the gorge of the Nepean River.

From the entrance to Glenbrook, drive across the causeway and continue along the main road till you get to the end of Nepean Lookout Road. Much of the driving is on narrow dirt roads.
Since this is a 'return' style walk once you have had enough of the walk, turn around and retrace your steps back to the start.

Take the track from the end of Nepean lookout road, it is sign posted to Nepean Lookout. The track is a well maintained service trail (and old road) that brings you to the lookout. There are big drops and no fences so care must be taken. The lookout is great, you can see one or two house, but otherwise this is a very unspoiled section of the Nepean and views of some very step country.
