This is one of those great little short walks that goes to a really nice picnic spot. Going down to Bantry Bay this walk has good views and a great resting spot at the picnic area. If looking for a short walk and a picnic in the area this is the one to do.

(0 km) Seaforth Oval to Bantry Bay Picnic Area Track: Moderate - Bush Track
Distance = 0.7 km
Time = 15 mins
Climb = 2 m
Descent = -107 m
This track enters Garigal National Park at the northern end Seaforth Oval carpark next to the large 'Harbour to Hawkesbury' sign. Shortly after entering the park the track turns downhill at the 'Timbergetters Track' sign. The Timbergetters track is a well made set of stairs leading down to Bantry Bay picnic area which is a relatively large clearing complete with picnic tables toilet and jetty.
Largely following Middle Harbour Creek and stretching from Seaforth in the south to St Ives in the north Garigal National Park is hidden through Sydney's Northern suburbs. Despite how close it is to large urban centres Garigal is quite beautiful with lots of different walking and cycling tracks. For those just wishing to picnic Davidson Reserve is a great spot just next to Middle Harbour Creek, under the Roseville Bridge.
