Walking along a ledge halfway down the cliffs, this track offers fantastic views of the Jamison Valley and the cliffs. In addition, there are beautiful waterfalls at both ends. Recent track maintenance has made this walk easier and cleaner, allowing more time to soak in the wonders of the cliffs of Wentworth Falls.

(0 km) Conservation Hut to Int of Valley of the Waters and Queen Victoria Tracks Track: Moderate - Bush Track

From the restaurant side of the hut the track heads down the stairs (13 stairs) and at the immediate bottom comes to an intersection with a track that goes for about 15m to a set of picnic tables. Continuing down the hill the track comes to an intersection with a bushtrack. This is signposted as the shortcut track. From the intersection the track goes down the stairs following the signs to the Valley of the Waters. This passes several informational signs and approximately halfway passes a track going off to the left which goes to an old firecircle. Continuing downhill the track shortly after comes to an intersection signposted as the Overcliff Track. From the intersection the track heads south-west following the sign to the Valley of the Waters. This goes down the stairs until coming to an intersection with an unmarked bushtrack. Just off to the right and down the stairs is the track to queen victoria lookout. From the intersection the track heads down the stairs towards the sign saying Queen Victoria Lookout. These stairs are approximately 15m long. At the sign the track comes to an intersection with a bushtrack.

From the intersection the track follows the sign to Queen Victoria Lookout. 10m along the track the trail passes a good lookout over the Valley of the Waters. 50m beyond this point and the track comes to Queen Victoria Lookout.

From the intersection the track follows the signs to the Valley of the Waters. This goes down a gradual set of stairs next to the cliffs until coming to Empress Lookout From the lookout the track heads down the stairs. The descent is first on cut stone steps but these soon change to several flights of metal stairs. Towards the end the track changes to wooden log stairs before coming to an intersection signposted as the way to the National Pass or along the Nature Track.

From the intersection the track follows the sign along the National Pass Trail and towards the Valley of the Waters. This climbs slightly up along wooden steps next to the metal railing. Once at the top of the climb the track turns and heads downhill until crossing on stepping stones in front of a small waterfall. On the opposite side of this the track goes steeply down until crossing in front of a much large waterfall. Following the small marker saying track the trail continues downstream. At this point the track is extremely steep and slippery. Shortly after the track crosses the face of another waterfall. Watch out for these stepping stones when the waterfalls are rushing as they are extremely slippery. On the other side of the crossing the track flattens out and follows the edge of the cliffs. Not long after the track comes to an intersection signposted as the National Pass Trail. At this point there are markers pointing to Wentworth Falls and to Conservation Hut.
(0.62 km) Int of Valley of the Waters and National Pass Tracks to Top of the Slack Stairs Walk: Easy - Bush Track

From the intersection the track heads north-east following the signs along the National Pass trail. This goes away from the Valley of the Waters and climbs steeply up to the cliffs. Once reaching the cliffs the track goes through a wire gate and flattens out. From here the track is relatively flat as it traverses a ledge halfway down the cliffs. Recently extensive track maintenance has been carried out here so the track is safer and considerably less muddy than it used to be. Just before the end the track goes past a small waterfall along a rockshelf and shortly after goes through another wire gate. This is just before coming to an intersection signposted as the top of the Slack Stairs.
(2.04 km) Top of the Slack Stairs to Middle Wentworth Falls Track: Moderate - Bush Track

From the intersection the track follows the sign to Wentworth Falls (not lower wentworth falls). This runs close to the cliffs and shortly after there is a great view of the falls. After this the track goes under an overhang in the cliffs so it is nescessary to duck. When the overhang ends the track follows the stone staircase down the hill until reaching Middle Wentworth Falls. The track goes in front of the falls on the stepping stones and connects to the stone staircase on the other side.
(2.38 km) Middle Wentworth Falls to Top of Wentworth Falls Track: Hard - Bush Track

From the falls the track heads south steeply up the rock stairs next to the falls. Gradually these turn away from the falls and go through a cleft in the cliffs. These stairs are very steep. This continues until approximately halfway the track passes a fenced in No Access Cliff Point. Passing this the stairs continue up the cliffs until flattening out. When the track flattens out it passes a small carved out square in the rock. Continuing under Rocket Point the track soon comes to an intersection just before the falls at a small creek that feeds into the falls. This is part of the Rocket Point Track. From the intersection the track heads upstream next to the falls for approximate 35m before coming to the top of Wentworth Falls. The track crosses this on large stepping stones.
(2.57 km) Top of Wentworth Falls to Wentworth Falls Lookout Walk: Easy - Bush Track

From Wentworth Falls the track heads up the log stairs until coming to an intersection signposted as part of the Weeping Rock Tracks. From the intersection the track heads north-west along the bushtrack and goes slightly up a set of stairs until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack signposted as the way to Fletchers Lookout or up to the Falls Picnic Area. From the intersection the track goes up the stairs until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack signposted as the way to the Weeping Rock Circuit or to the Wentworth Falls Picnic area. From the intersection the track follows the signs to the Falls Picnic Area and goes up the stairs to the north-west. These continue until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack going off to the left. As of time of writing this track was closed for maintenance. From the intersection the track heads north-east up the stairs and the bushtrack. This zig-zags up the hill until just near the top pasing several information signs. Just up the stairs from here and the track breaks out at a lookout next to Sir H. Burrell Drive.
