One of the shorter walks near Scenic World, this track heads into a temperate rainforest. It follows a shrouded trail through Witches Leap (a small creek crossing) before emerging near Katoomba Kiosk. Pop in here for a cup of a coffee before heading back along the flat trail to Scenic World. Special features of this walk include the great views from Juliet's Balcony.

(0 km) Scenic World to Int of Prince Henry Cliff Walk and Katoomba Falls Round Walk
Walk: Easy - footpath, bushtrack
Distance = 0.2 km Time = 10 mins
Climb = 0 m Descent = -96 m
From Scenic World the track follows the signs to the Prince Henry Cliff Walk and to the footbridge. This goes behind the main building and onto a wooden footbridge that curves around to the north and behind the main carpark. At the end of the footbridge tbe track comes to an intersection with a bushtrack.
From the intersection the track heads north-east along the bushtrack down the very gradual set of stairs. thid curves to the east very shortly before coming to an intersection with a bushtrack. This intersection has signs pointing along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk and down to the base of the Scenic Railway.

Track: Hard - Bush Track

Climb = 0 m Descent = -174 m
From the intersection the track heads down the steep stairs following the signs to the bottom of the Scenic Railway. At the bottom of the first set of stairs the track comes to a great lookout off the track. This has a good view of Katoomba Falls. Continuing down the cliffs there are frequent metal stairs to go down and the environment changes from dry bushland to a temperate rainforest environment. Soon after the change in environment the track comes to an intersection to a lookout off to the right.

From the intersection the track heads out towards the cliffs. This goes up a set of stairs before coming to a lookout signposted as Juliets Balcony. This has a great view of Katoomba Falls. The skyway also runs overhead this lookout.

(0.29 km) Int of Katoomba Falls Round Walk and Juliets Balcony Track to Int of Katoomba Kiosk Loop and Witches Leap Track
Track: Moderate - Bush Track
Distance = 0.3 km Time = 30 mins
Climb = 34 m Descent = -38 m
From the intersection the track heads south down the stairs. Shortly after passing the wire safety fence the track flattens out. Just after this the track comes to an intersection signposted as the way to the bottom of the steps or up to the caravan park.
From the intersection the track heads north-east along the bushtrack through the shady temperate rainforest. Shortly after the intersection the track crosses a small bridge and continues along the bushtrack. Not long after this and the track goes down to and crosses a small creek signposted as Witches Leap. From Witches Leap the track zig-zags up the hill until breaking out onto a large intersection signposted as part of Prince Henry Cliff Walk.

From the intersection the track heads up the steep set of stairs. These go up along the footpath until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack signposted as the way to Scenic Railway.

From the intersection the track heads north-east past the large information sign towards Cliff Rd. Once reaching the carpark on Cliff Rd the track comes to Katoomba Falls Kiosk.

After having been recently renovated the Katoomba Falls Kiosk is now open for business again. Serving a variety of light and healthy meals including breakfast, lunch and Devonshire Teas. Enjoy a cup of coffee before, during or after exploring the cliffs surrounding the Kiosk. For more enquiries phone (02) 4782-4868.

Walk: Easy - Bush Track
Distance = 0.3 km Time = 25 mins
Climb = 261 m Descent = -194 m
From the intersection the track heads east along the bushtrack running parallel to Cliff Drive and following the signs to the Scenic Railway. This continues until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack going off to the left.
From the intersection the track heads west along the bushtrack. Shortly after curving to the south and going up a very gradual set of stairs the track comes to an intersection at the end of a footbridge. This has several green scenic world signs at it.

From the intersection the track heads south along the footbridge. Shortly after this enters into Scenic World.
