This short return walk explores the Blue Mountain National Park just west of Katoomba, winding around the cliff tops to the Nellies Glen lookout, and offering a side trip to the Therambulat Lookout, both of which provide great views across the Megalong Valley. This walk can be happily enjoyed by a family looking for a quick bushwalk that just scratches the surface of what the National Park has to offer.

From the intersection of Farnell Rd and the bushtrack (approximately 30m west of the end of Stuarts Rd) marked by the signpost saying 'Cliff Track' this trail heads north down the bushtrack until coming to an intersection with a bushtrack. This corner is marked by a large cairn and an orange banner wrapped around the tree on the corner.

From the intersection the track heads west along the bushtrack until coming to a lookout over the valley, which has great views to the south and south-west. To protect visitors safety railings have been installed.

From the intersection the track heads south-east along the flat bushtrack. As the track turns to the west and crosses a small creek using a bridge the track begins to climb steadily around the side of the hill. This continues until reaching an intersection with a wide track, marked by a signpost saying 'Bonnie Doon Fauna Study Being Conducted at this Site'.
